My client, a rapidly growing group of companies are now seeking a Company Accountant to head up the finance function for one of their subsidiary companies. This person could be qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), part-qualified (AAT) or QBE and will report to the Managing Director.
Duties include:
*To maintain and update all sales, purchases and nominal ledgers
*VAT return production and filing
*To produce monthly management accounts & reports including Profit & Loss, Balance sheet reconciliations and cash book and bank reconciliations with variances
*To produce cash flow forecasts
*To maintain payroll records and produce payroll submissions
It is essential that this person is happy to be the 'go-to' person for finance queries as they will be the only accountant in the company. They will also be happy to be hands-on and productive in a small and friendly team. You can expect a competive salary package along with attractive benefits on top.
