Health & Safety AdvisorLocation – DroitwichRate: £300 - £350 per dayKey Tasks: Support the Managers of HS&E in the promotion and use of H&S policies and procedures in conjunction with the project’s Policies.Assist the Senior and Manager of HS&E to lead the development of company H&S objectives, policies, procedures, and standards.To conduct Senior safety checks on the project with the H&S Advisors.Produce monthly and yearly HS&E performance statistics and reports.Produce and publish HS&E documentation to a high standard.Work closely with the operational teams in carrying out their roles and HS&E responsibilities.Assist the operational teams in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.Support the operational teams in developing and reviews RAMS.Conduct regular and robust health and safety Inspections & Audits.Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported in a timely manner, and are also effectively investigated, contributing to Incident Review Boards.Assist Management teams in the development of health and safety related documents.Advise and assist in the identification of health and safety training requirements. Essential: Full UK Driving Licence.NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent.Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g., Tech IOSH or above).Experience working as a Senior HS&E Advisor.Accident/Investigation Qualification (e.g., Kelvin TOPSET, ROSPA or NEBOSH HSE Introductionto Incident Investigation)Auditing to ISO45001 standard Desirable: 3 Years practical HS&E experience.Experience of working in construction and heavy civil environment Environmental qualification (IEMA or equivalent).Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 Standards.Auditing qualification "VGC Personnel are acting as a Recruitment agency to this vacancy.”
