Job Purpose

The Product Trainer role in RM is integral to our ability to onboard new customers and maximise opportunities with existing customers. It is a high-profile customer facing role requiring the skills to learn complex software products, design training sessions and successfully deliver these both in person and remotely and through other approaches such as recorded content or online courses.

 

RM Assessment customers are heavily involved in the education sector, many of whom come from teaching and training backgrounds. A solid understanding and appreciation of pedagogy is also required.

 

This role has been created to support a large Digital Transformation project for an internationally renowned education organisation. It will be responsible for developing training content and materials tailored to the client project and delivering training to the organisation’s teams and their 3,500 schools across the globe. The job holder will be working closely with the client’s Digital Transformation Team and other internal roles supporting this exciting digital transformation project.

Designing Training

Define tailored training modules based around the requirements of the client Digital Transformation Project and RM’s software products.

 

Work with internal teams and the client’s Digital Transformation team to ensure that training evolves as product functionality and the transformation project develop.

 

Be responsible for the tracking and maintenance of all client training content.

Training Content Development

Develop training materials to support agreed client training needs that may be used in interactive in-person or remote training sessions or delivered through webinars or other appropriate means.

 

Training content is likely to include PowerPoint slides, product demos and video and written content.

Customer Delivery

Deliver training to client teams and their global community of schools. The training is expected to be delivered remotely and is not expected to involve any international travel.

 

Show a sensitivity to user and customer needs, be flexible and willing to take on feedback from observations and be able to differentiate training material on the fly if necessary.
