Role: Engagement Officer

Employment:  Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location:  Office based (will be allocated on the basis of closest to home) with the expectation to travel across Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire.

Salary:  £27,250 - £30,500 (Grade 5) - pro-rata for part time

What are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Engagement Officer. We are an Ofsted Good provider offering a variety of career path options to adults and young people.

You will be required to support the business through the development of strong relationships with learners and Employers. Increase opportunities for learners to gain high quality work experience, upskilling and routes into Employment and Apprenticeship opportunities. To support and assist the effective delivery of our contracts including Adult Education Budget, Multiply/UKSPF, Restart and National Careers Service. The key measure of success in the role will be against the achievement of company and contractual KPI’s.

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 2 literacy, numeracy.
• Relevant, successful experience within a sales / IAG orientated business to customer environment
• The ability to achieve personal targets and high productivity.
• Experience of successfully managing own performance against stringent and challenging targets
• An understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, safeguarding and working with young people and vulnerable adults.
• An exceptional ability to engage and communicate with learners of differing ages
• Good knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent, Equal Opportunities and Diversity and of Safeguarding and Health & Safety in a work placement environment
• Excellent IT skills (word processing, databases, MS TEAMS, email, internet, and social media)
• You will need to have access to transport and be able to commute reliably across the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire counties.
