Job description
We are currently working with a reputable engineering consultancy seeking to recruit a Revit Technician to work on a variety of projects including healthcare, commercial offices, education, retail, mixed use, and residential schemes. As a Revit Technician, you will be responsible for providing structural and civil engineering drawings for construction projects across the business. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Preparing structural and civil engineering drawings using REVIT/AutoCAD.Collaborating with colleagues e.g., team leader and immediate design team, and keeping them informed on issues pertinent to your projects.Developing, implementing, and maintaining BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices for the company.Ensuring that project teams comply with all BIM requirements, including quality control, project delivery and model management.Providing technical support to the project engineers.Attending meetings and carrying out site inspections as direct by the team leader. Skills & Experience Required: HNC, HND or similar degree level qualification in Civil EngineeringMinimum 4 years relevant work experienceIdeally CSCS registered card holderExcellent AutoCAD and Revit skills, including an ability to manage data, X-refs, layers etcSolid understanding of CDM regulations.
