Supplier Onboarding Analyst - £50K Watford
Are you a Compliance professional with experience of KYC? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a 'Greenfield' Procurement operation, taking a critical role in the continued development of their supplier onboarding processes, with a dotted reporting line into the Head of Compliance. This role will play a pivotal part in safeguarding the trust and reputation of our clients customer facing brands.
Role:
As a Supplier Onboarding Analyst, you will join a team who are responsible for conducting thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments on potential suppliers. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practice guidance and facilitating a smooth onboarding process.
- Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential suppliers, verifying their identity, legal status, ownership structure, and financial stability.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and company policies during the supplier onboarding process to mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information, documentation, and compliance-related activities in the designated system (COUPA).
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on supplier onboarding activities, compliance status, and potential risks for management review.
- You will be provided the opportunity to help design and implement the sustainable procurement strategy in line with the organisations social value framework
Experience:
Ideally, you will demonstrate;
- Previous experience in supplier onboarding, KYC/KYS, compliance or a related role.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in supplier due diligence and KYC/KYS processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and systems for documentation and data management.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, willing to accept challenges, with good time management and organisation skills.
- Have knowledge and experience in using the COUPA platform is preferred but not essential
