Job description
We are looking for a Head Chef to join our wonderful team at a new members club opening in Islington.
We will be serving modern European dishes, using sustainable, seasonal and wherever possible, locally sourced ingredients.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for the food operation across the entire building. The primary focus will be the development of menus on all floors as well as working alongside the General Manager to reduce food costs where possible.
We would ideally require the following:
- At least 10 years experience working in restaurants
- Experience working internationally in key cities and countries
- Complete understanding of food hygiene requirements set out by the Food Standards Agency
- Level 3 Food Hygiene (HACCP)
- A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in helping all other departments
- Experience in maintaining stock levels and effective stock management
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Master at multi-tasking and delegating
- Communication, leadership skills
- Hands on, team player
- Ability to manage personnel, approachable for your team

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with leaders on all levels both inside and outside the organisation
