Job description
GSL Education are actively on the lookout for dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to provide crucial support to the S LD/SEN schools in Winchester and its surrounding areas. We consider applications from unqualified teachers as well ; however, it is important to note that the remuneration for such candidates is subject to a distinct pay scale.

Daily Pay: £150 - £200 Location: Winchester Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time Both experienced and Early Career Teachers (ECT)s are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities: - Specialised Instruction : Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with MLD/SEN .
- Inclusive Learning : Champion inclusivity by creating a classroom atmosphere that fosters respect, understanding, and acceptance.
- Collaborative Team Player : Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to create a holistic approach to student development.
- Individualised Support : Provide one-on-one assistance to students, ensuring their unique learning requirements are met.
- SEN Advocacy : Act as an advocate for SEN students, promoting awareness and understanding within the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) with a focus on SEN .
- Strong behaviour management.
- Experience on challenging behaviour.
- Strong understanding of SEN educational needs and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
