A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a RCVS accredited small animal practice in the historical city of Colchester. Our client is located in the heart of Colchester, recently granted city status. With London and Stanstead both less than an hour away and the Suffolk countryside and coast just a short drive, this position offers great opportunities for a fulfilling work-life balance.
They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis. The role involves a variety of duties, including nurse consultations, lab work, monitoring general anaesthesia, as well as schedule 3 procedures and laser therapy.
Our client operates as a small animal opinion practice equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a new x-ray generator and table, class IV laser, and dental machine. With a focus on in-house laboratory work, an interest in microscope work would be a benefit.
The current team comprises 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 5 Support Staff. While the practice doesn't have specialists on-site, there is a wealth of clinical experience within the team, supplemented by visiting specialists.

The Role:
• Part time role
• Working Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 6.30pm
• 1:4 Saturdays (8.30am - 12.30pm)
• No OOH
