Job description
Role: Credit Controller
Location: Staverton, Cheltenham
Salary: £23,000-£26,000
As an Experienced Credit Controller you will be responsible for chasing debts in a timely and professional manner.
· Credit Control
· Hybrid Working
· Using the Power computerised system
· Chasing debts by phone and letter
· Initiate legal action where required
· Reconciling Bank Statements
· Cash allocation and reconciliation
· Assignment of unallocated payments
· Produce outstanding debtors report
· Review invoices in query and forward to the correct department to be resolved
· Liaise with customers and internal staff to create good working relationships
Requirements:
· Experience in Credit Control focusing on collections, accounts receivable or sales ledger roles
· Excellent telephone manner with the skill to influence outcomes
· Communicate confidently and build good rapport with clients
· Excellent computer and keyboard skills
· Good numeracy skills
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
· Self-motivated
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
· Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel
· A Full Driving Licence is preferred but not essential
