Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Environment Solutions Provider in their search for an Ecologist to work across Ireland .

For the successful Ecologist, our client is offering: • € 30,000 – € 50,000 Euros
• Monday – Friday, days
• Permanent position
• Company Pension
• Flexible working available

The role: Ecologist:

• Provide specialist technical advice on local ecology, biodiversity, and nature conservation
• Review of planning applications
• Performing a range of ecological surveys to identify ecological constraints
• Support to local site monitoring
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Attention to technical detail, in both recording and transcribing/checking survey data
• Good report-writing skills, with an eye for detail
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite
• A willingness to work in remote locations and, at times, stay away from home during the working week
• Undertaking ornithology, habitat, and protected species surveys
• Assisting with data input, analysis and research

What our client is looking for in an Ecologist:

• A degree in Ecology or a relevant discipline ( ESSENTIAL )
• Experience working within a consultancy for 5 years ( PREFERRED )
• Full clean Irish / UK Driving License ( ESSENTIAL )
• Experience of writing EcIA, HRA, BMP, and NIS ( ESSENTIAL )
