Salary: £50k - 55k per year + Bonus and hybrid working

Resourcery Group are working with one of the Liverpool region's fastest growing businesses as they look to hire a new Financial Accountant. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ACA qualified accountant looking for their first or second move from practice. My client have an excellent reputation and are highly regarded as a place to work. The business has grown significantly in recent years and is forecasting further growth. It is an exciting time for the Group and the Financial Accountant will be provided with first class progression and development opportunities that are hard to match.

This role will be based from the Liverpool office but my client has also embraced hybrid working and the successful candidate will be able to work from home for part of the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidation of monthly UK accounts
• Preparation of UK statutory accounts under FRS102
• Budget & Forecast consolidation
• VAT compliance
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Ad hoc reporting for other stakeholders including banking, pension trustees, Group Finance team
• Commercial support to UK FD at month end wider finance team

Key Requirements

• Qualified Accountant
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical matters to non-finance employees
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload
