Here is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in enhancing quality of life and wellbeing for all our residents. Your role will be to organise and deliver high quality person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents. You will also guide, lead, develop and coach our staff in engagement and activity with residents, so that every day is filled with magic (meaningful) moments. You will report to the manager of the home and be supported by the Wellbeing & Dementia Services Manager. You will ensure residents’ dignity and self-esteem is enhanced through meaningful engagement, positive relationships and free expression of individuality..

Responsibilities

• Leading on, and delivering, high quality meaningful activity for all residents
• Ensuring people living with dementia enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other residents
• Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents
• Promoting and developing mealtimes as highlight of the day
• Creating and maintaining excellent community links
