We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead our clients onsite finance team at their recently refurbished Warwick site. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, team development, and operational control.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller
- Financial Leadership : Lead and develop a team of 5 finance professionals, overseeing day-to-day operations, stock management, and inventory movements. As the finance lead, you will have authority for sign-off on operational items and ensure compliance with SOX controls.
- Reporting Mastery : Responsible for the reporting of actuals and forecasts for the Warwick site in OneStream. Provide support to business heads by delivering financial information through AMI/SAP. Take charge of balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly tax reporting, and currency cash forecasting.
- Process Improvements : Collaborate with the shared service center to identify and implement process improvements. Leverage available software and automation tools to enhance reporting efficiency.
- Audit Leadership : Lead the annual audit process and maintain effective communication with external auditors. Ensure adherence to audit requirements and provide necessary documentation.
- Ad-Hoc Excellence : Handle ad-hoc tasks efficiently and contribute proactively to the ongoing success of the finance team.
What We’re Looking for in the ideal Financial Controller:
- Qualified BA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience with SAP and month-end processes, including cash forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a finance team
- Organized and deadline-driven with a curious and enquiring mind
- Experience working with multicurrency
