Role Summary: As a Telecoms Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and support of our telecommunications systems. You will work closely with our clients to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues, ensuring their telecommunications services run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a dedication to continuous learning. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems, including VOIP, PBX, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving issues related to telecommunications equipment and services.
- Perform regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of telecommunications services.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new telecommunications solutions.
- Train clients and internal staff on the use and maintenance of telecommunications systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest telecommunications technologies and trends.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to system configuration, system changes, and operational procedures.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is an advantage but not necessary.
- Proven experience as a Telecoms Support Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications systems and technologies, including VOIP, PBX, and network infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on-call or outside of standard business hours as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
