Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be supporting a leading marine infrastructure support company to recruit an experienced finance professional into the role of finance Director. Boastingthe largest wholly UK-owned fleet dedicated to the North Sea region and an extensive track record, they offer unparalleled operational expertise, delivering comprehensive support and mission critical services. Backed by a large, dedicated infrastructure investment firm, this company isambitious and fast growing, diversifying into new locations and industry sectors such as renewables. This is a truly unique role in Aberdeen offering an exciting career opportunity to the successful candidate.
The Finance Director will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting (management and statutory), treasury, audit, tax and related analysis, alongside the production and presentation of financial performance summaries required for management review and investor reporting. The position will directly report to the Chief Financial Officer and haveclose working relationships with senior leadership team. The role will monitorand report onmedium-term cash flow and treasury, manageand developthe finance team, and maintain/support theongoing development of financial management controls to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The successful candidate will be skilled in the management of external relationships including those related to audit, tax advice and banking., as well as being proficient in supporting information requirements for current and potential investors.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with several years of experience in a senior finance position.Experience in and infrastructure/asset heavy business is strongly preferred, as is experience of private equity backed, highly geared businesses.
