Position Overview: As a Key Stage 2 Teacher in Barnsley, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of primary school students, helping them to discover their potential and achieve their academic goals. Whether you’re leading engaging lessons, facilitating hands-on activities, or providing personalised support, your role as a Key Stage 2 Teacher is essential in shaping the future of education. We offer both full-time, long-term contracts within individual schools and flexible part-time work to suit your schedule – the choice is yours!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver exciting and interactive lessons that engage and inspire Key Stage 2 students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Foster a love of learning and instil confidence and resilience in every child.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and pedagogy.
• Passion for working with primary school students and helping them to reach their full potential.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work full-time, long-term contracts or part-time on a flexible basis.
