Job Title: Maths Teacher ✍ Location:

East Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Nottingham, NG8 area

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours, April start till end of term

£130.00 - £150.00 Per day - depending on experience

Qualifications:

PGCE, Degree, QTS

Skills:

Knowledge of Maths Subject, Confident with managing behaviour, Liaising with the TAs, Experience working in Secondary settings, Passionate, Resilient, Planning and assessment experience

Role:

Full time, all day, term time only, Contract is April till end of term

Documents:

British passport, BRP Card and share code, Overseas Police Check certificate, Relevant qualifications as a Teacher, Driver desirable but not essential

Job Duties:

• Teach Maths subject to secondary school students
• Create engaging lesson plans and deliver them effectively
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Provide support and guidance to Teaching Assistants
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

PGCE, Degree, QTS - ESSENTIAL

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Experience working as a Maths Teacher in secondary school settings

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong knowledge of the Maths subject, Confident with managing behaviour, Experience liaising with Teaching Assistants, Passion for teaching, Resilience in challenging situations, Planning and assessment experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in Education or Mathematics

Working Conditions:

Full-time position during term time, Contract from April till end of term, Working all day, Driving desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
