Job description

Based in Gloucester, Safran UK are looking for a skilled person to join our local team as a Learning & Development Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Safran Zone Learning & Development Coordinator role typically involves managing and coordinating various aspects of the learning and development programs across all of the Safran UK sites.

Learning & Development is responsible to :
- Ensure the employability and the match between the Group's needs and the skills resources available.
- Develop and implement HR development actions: training and skills management to ensure that appropriate learning and development is available.

Administration:
• Work alongside the UK site Learning and Development Managers to ensure Coordination of U.K. based training sessions.
• Undertake location and planning logistics for UK based courses, alongside Safran University; supporting UK local site requirements: including ‘Lead' and Graduates.
• Handle administrative tasks related to learning initiatives, such as scheduling, enrolment, logistics and maintaining training records.
• Compile all required reporting documentation, being mindful of GDPR and Internal Control requirements.

Communication:
• Facilitate communication between different departments or teams to ensure effective implementation of learning programs.
• Host monthly L&D calls within the U.K. and quarterly L&D targeted workshops.
• Participate in monthly zone activity; supporting and delivering Safran universities objectives

Evaluation:
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvements.
• Align closely with Safran University and UK site Learning and Development Managers to ensure offering available to U.K. is both appropriate and effective.
• Work with central purchasing to refine and align on agreed Learning and Development suppliers and courses.
• Support training needs analysis across local sites.
• Ensure all learning offerings define and align with Group skills profiles and matrix.

Technology Integration:
• Utilise learning management systems (LMS, TMS and Power BI) or other technologies to streamline the learning process.

Collaboration:
• Collaborating with L&D domain managers, subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to create and deliver relevant learning content.

Compliance:
• Ensuring that training programs align with company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards.

Training:
• Ensure new Learning & development managers are system and process trained on sites where an appropriate local handover has not been received.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrable experience of working in a demanding L&D role that includes; volume administration, data collation and analysis.
• Ability to support Training needs analysis; understanding how learning and development impacts talent management.
• Intermediate Proficiency with Microsoft Package in particular: Word, Powerpoint, Email & Excel.
• Experience of working with a multitude of stakeholders at various levels.
• Able to adapt to a role that will evolve and contribute to the development of the role.
• Ability to work in a professional and confidential manner.
• Excellent communication skills and willing to provide an excellent standard of customer service.
• Ability to multitask, as the role includes daily task variety and the need to adapt.
• CIPD Level 3 with CIPD membership or equivalent L&D NVQ' / experience.
