Job description
My client who are a main contractor on Severn Trent Water want to strengthen their Administration team with a Document Controller for the Severn Trent Water region. From Bamford, you will support the end to end governance process and assist with project takeover. You will liaise with site and project based staff , ensuring retrieval of accurate documentations from key stakeholders.
You will report directly to the Information & Systems Manager and the responsibilities will include:Essential
·Proven experience in a document control or closely related role.
·High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other IT systems.
·Highly organised with an attention to detail, ability to plan and prioritise own workload, able to work effectively to deadlines.
·Ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior engineers in both verbal and written.
·Good interpersonal skills and team worker
·Experience in use of Business Collaborator, SharePoint and/or a quick learner/problem solver.
Desirable
