Job description
This setting based in St Albans are looking for a Nursery assistant and a Nursery Nurse to join the team.
Nursery Assistant - Level 2 in childcare minimum
Up to £20,883.20 per annum, pro rata
15 hours per week
Nursery Nurse - Level 3 in childcare minimum
£24,500 per annum depending on experience
40 hours per week
Baby Room (under 2's)
Purpose of the role:
To provide care and education which promotes health, growth and development; to help children achieve the best possible.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and care for an allocated small group of children
• Provide equipment for play and education, and supervise accordingly ensuring that equipment is appropriate for development
• Liaise with parent and carers on anything relating to their child
• Ensure Nursery is safe, clean and tidy at all times
• Take reasonable care of self and others and comply with Health & Safety policy at all times
• Assess child's development within the appropriate frameworks
• Ensure that all standards are maintained.
Annual Leave
25 days + Bank Holidays, increasing to 27 days after 5 years and to 30 days after 10 years of service.
