Job description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children and Young People Support Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young individuals, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a good understanding of emotional, mental health, and behavioural issues
As a Senior Children’s Support Worker, your main duties will be to:
Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each child.
Work collaboratively with a team of support workers to create a positive and nurturing environment.
Implement care plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
To be a Team Leader, we require you to have:
Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent.
Experince working with young adults who have challenging behaviours
Experience of Shift leading
Experience of supervising care staff.
Completing LAC reports and attending external meetings
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Must possess a valid driving license and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to make a difference.
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required.
