Project – Government Office Refurbishment, M&E upgrade, Weybridge, Surrey, £100K
Security Clearance Required – CTC or SC Clearance
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Weeks
Day Rate: £260

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading refurbishment contractor who is searching for a Freelance Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a government office located in Weybridge, Surrey.

The project will consist of a full office refurbishment, including M&E upgrade along with painting, decorating and flooring with a project value of £100K. This is the first project that will follow on to many other larger projects on the same site. The successful Site Manager will then be transferred to other projects starting shortly after.

To be considered for this role you must have security clearance, either CTC or SC Clearance.

The Role:

• Site inductions.
• Prestart meetings with sub-contractors.
• Coordination & management of subcontractors.
• Site safety.
• Collaborative planning with the subcontractors.
• Weekly & forward planning.
• Daily diaries.
• H&S paperwork.
• Site orders/deliveries/dealing with 3rd parties to coordinate deliveries.
• Feeding back to Quantity Surveyor on potential changes/variations – assisting with building up costs.
• Updating drawings when required.
• Emailing to confirm agreements with subcontractors on programme issues.
• Liaising with the client’s on-site team professionally.
• Enthusiastic attitude.

Requirements:

• Previous Fit-out or Refurbishment experience.
• CTC or SC Clearance.
• Site qualifications including CSCS Card & SMSTS Certificate.
• First Aid Ticket.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• SC – This is the most common level of clearance and is for those candidates who would require access to ‘SECRET’ assets or occasional controlled access to ‘TOP SECRET’ assets.
• CTC – This clearance is for candidates who will be working with sensitive data or materials, or who are vulnerable to terrorist attack or whose work will involve unrestricted access to certain government or commercial establishments.
