Due to expansion, TSR Legal are excited to be working with a leading, Legal 500 reputable law firm to introduce a new opportunity within their Family Law department at the Devizes office. We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer with 1 year or more PQE to join the dynamic team.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to refine and enhance your skills as a successful lawyer. Managing an existing caseload of varied work, you’ll also be empowered to expand the client base through networking and business development activities aligned with your strengths. You will focus on divorce and finance with some childcare matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle an existing caseload of varied family law matters including divorce, financials and childcare.
• Expand client base through networking and business development.
• Develop expertise in various dispute resolution methods.
• Conduct advocacy with the support of department colleagues.
• Contribute to marketing activities and support junior team members.
• Participate in specialised areas within the department.

Working Arrangements:

The Team:

The Family Team, with extensive experience, specialises in family law matters such as separation, divorce, children matters, finance and pensions, domestic abuse, pre-nuptial, and post-nuptial agreements.

The Department:

The Family department comprises 14 lawyers ranging from Trainee Solicitor to Partner, supported by team members across six offices. Recognised in Chambers & Partners 2023 and The Legal 500 2023, the department is dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

Your Experience & Qualifications:

• 1+ years PQE in Family law.
• Qualified Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer in the UK,
• Proficiency in handling divorce, separation, financial settlements, children matters, injunctions, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
• Excellent client care and negotiation skills.
• Experience in advocacy
