Job description
Our Client is a small to medium sized Civil Engineering Main Contractor working predominantly within the rail sector and they are offering an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager. They are looking for a candidate that will be able to work successfully as part of a team and positively contribute to the everyday Site requirements of the business.
Job Description:
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
- To be responsible for the day to day control of all HSQE matters on the appointed site(s).
- Supervision of site labour and any sub-contractors to ensure efficient working always.
- Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed.
- Continued and specific liaison with the client on all project matters.
- Progress monitoring & reporting.
- Assess costs, arrange materials and equipment in a timely manner.
- Identify any problems/delays/additional works as soon as possible.
- Be responsible for the setup of the construction site.
- Consult the Health and Safety Advisor if you have any concerns or positive feedback about the safety performance.
- Be accountable to the Managing Director
- Implementation and completion of site QA plan
