Women and Newborn - The Princess Anne Hospital is a regional centre for foetal and maternal medicine, providing specialist care for people with medical problems during pregnancy, and for those whose baby needs extra care before or around birth. We are a centre of excellence for maternity care, providing a comprehensive service to support about 6,000 people each year from around Southampton.Child Health - Southampton Childrens Hospital (SCH) leads the UK as one of the top specialist paediatric hospitals. We provide world class medical care for children across the south of England and further afield who are experiencing some of the most complex and severe illnesses and injuries. Ophthalmology -The Eye Unit is a forward-looking tertiary referral centre and the region's leading provider of eye care. Clinical services are delivered within a newly expanded unit with state-of-the-art facilities and supported by a strong leadership and divisional management team. We are actively involved in Hampshire and Isle of White (HIOW) ICS developments and a major player in global and UK wide research and education.With our strong links with the University of Southampton, research capability and clinical expertise we are often chosen as a pilot site for national initiatives from NHS England, for this reason the opportunities and potential to develop careers are special ones.We are a dynamic and fast paced environment, which is always evolving and always improving and encourages innovation. Please contact Jane McCartney on [email protected] or Chris McTaggart on [email protected] Your ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do Oversee the operational delivery of all services in your care group to ensure safe care and effective use of all resources. Operational management responsibility for a wide group of internal and external stakeholders, including specialty lead clinicians, matrons, operational managers within the care group - and across the Trust. You will demonstrate your ability to manage a range of challenges from project delivery to policy and finance to working across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, keeping the patient at the heart of all that we do. Lead on service and Trust-wide transformation projects and support the strategic development of services to ensure alignment to our Trust values. What were looking for Compassionate leaders who can bring a track record of success in a complex, multi-site, patient-facing senior operational delivery and management position, with an ability to maximise the opportunities available within a rapidly changing healthcare community. Proven experience in delivering operational excellence in a hospital setting and a track record of transforming the way services are delivered ,whilst delivering financial efficiencies. A supportive manager who can engage, empower and support career growth in your teams.
