Job description
We invite applications for a full-time*, fixed-term maternity cover Teaching Fellow/Senior Teaching Fellow position in the School of Veterinary Nursing, Department of Clinical Science and Services.
We are looking for an RVN or MRCVS to assist with the delivery, assessment and curriculum management of the RVC’s undergraduate Veterinary Nursing programmes.
The successful candidate should expect to work with the course leadership team and partake in all aspects of preparing and delivery of a range of activities associated with teaching, learning and assessment for the undergraduate VN programme. In addition, they will undertake the required quality assurance processes (e.g. report writing, review of content, collecting and analysis of student feedback, attendance at meetings and Exam Board).
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, and who is enthusiastic about working with and supporting our undergraduate veterinary nursing students.
Candidates must be RCVS registered, hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent level qualification) and have a recognised and relevant teaching qualification with membership to the FHEA. Candidates must also have experience of running and delivering teaching, learning and assessment within Higher Education.
