Job description

Weston College Group has secured a long-term education contract at HMP Five Wells located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Lead LLRC Facilitator to join our team.

As part of the Restart team, you will be providing and promoting outstanding Library and Learning Resource Centre (LLRC) services and facilities that are flexible and responsive to the needs of all learners and the wider prison community. You will be working collaboratively with curriculum and prison staff as well as partner agencies to develop and promote the Learning Resource Centre and its services to maximise access and usage for learning, leisure, well-being, resettlement and employment progression.

About HMP Five Wells
In partnership with G4S, RESTART (part of the Weston College Group) has been awarded the prestigious contract to establish the education department in the newly built state-of-the-art prison, HMP Five Wells. RESTART provides exceptional opportunities for residents to gain nationally recognised qualifications, in preparation for securing purposeful employment upon release.

HMP Five Wells is a privately run category C men's prison located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. At full capacity the prison can house 1,680 residents, making it one of the largest prisons in the UK.

The education department offers a range of Academic, Vocational and Creative courses to support residents with their future career aspirations.

Weston College Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS and obtain the appropriate prison clearance before starting the role.
