A new role has become available for a Personal Injury Manager at a highly regarded firm based in Leeds.
The successful candidate will be a Solicitor or Fee Earner with 5 + years’ experience within Personal Injury files and previous experience of supervising and leading a team. You will be providing the team with leadership, development and growth whilst also handling a case-load of Personal Injury, RTA claims.

Duties of the role:
- Lead and run the PI team and proactively resolve disputes
- Handle your own caseload of claims to ensure that clients receive professional, timely and pertinent legal advice.
- To be able to assess quantum to include reviewing medical reports, researching and obtaining relevant case law, drafting schedules of special damages and assessing suitable compensation.
- To liaise with medical agencies, experts, third party insurers and other relevant parties to ensure that cases are progressed.
- Instruct Barristers to represent clients at hearings and obtain formal advice over issues of quantum.
- Budget, financial and profitability control and delivering appropriate personal billing and financial targets
- Monitor workloads and allocate work as necessary
To progress to interview stage, you must:
- Personal Injury experience – in particular RTA Fast Track claims.
- Excellent litigator with strong drafting skills and the ability to negotiate settlements or running claims through to trial if required
- A strong working knowledge of the CPR, legislation and relevant case law.
- Excellent client care ability, with a passion for achieving the best possible outcome for our clients
- Experience and Understanding of credit hire
- A keen analytical mindset, quickly identifying fraudulent and business risks, alongside the ability to investigate claims thoroughly
