The Citizens Advice network in Scotland is the largest independent advice service in the country. Citizens AdviceScotland is a charity within this network – we act as a national organisation supporting and representing theservice as a whole and the interests of citizens. At the heart of the network there are 59 individual citizensadvice bureau across Scotland, all operating as independent charities in their own right, which focus onproviding support and advice directly to clients. Each of these organisations is a member of Citizens AdviceScotland. We believe that every citizen should have access to free, impartial and confidential advice that helpsthem make informed decisions, whenever they need it and however, they choose to access it.

Citizens Advice Scotland runs a series of national specialist services as projects which require dedicated projectmanagement. As a Project Coordinator you will take the lead on nominated projects with the overallresponsibility for their execution and successful delivery.

As well as leading as the focal point for the allocated projects, your role will be responsible for the overallproject management through proactive engagement, communication, planning and reporting with key stakeholders andparticipating member organisations of Citizens Advice Scotland.

You will ensure the funder and participating bureaux, as well as external and internal stakeholders are communicatedwith regularly, effectively and in an engaging way, particularly on matters relating to project delivery,management of project change and risks, service design and Quality Assurance as well as contract and financialbudgetary management. You will require an ability to foster a team culture across a dispersed team and be ableto direct and support them to communicate and engage with stakeholders effectively, monitor performance andservice design as well as meet external and internal reporting requirements.

National Projects are focused on providing a comprehensive, enhanced support service which is being delivered by thebureau network. Prior knowledge and involvement in advice projects would be an advantage.

Lead a dynamic, agile team to deliver Citizens Advice Scotland’s digital advice content.

You will manage the delivery of high-quality digital advice and the production of content, making sure it isaccessible and driven by user needs. You will also contribute to website development in order to meet thecurrent and future advice needs of the public and for the Citizens Advice network in Scotland as a whole. Thisrole will require you to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Citizens AdviceEngland and Wales, to facilitate the delivery of digital advice and lead on specific innovation projects. If youbelieve you have the experience to successfully deliver on the above, this could be the role for you.

Citizens Advice Scotland runs a series of national specialist services known as projects which require centralisedproject support. As Project Administrator, your time will be split 50/50 between supporting our Pension Wiseproject and providing generalised support to the wider project team.

For your work with the Pension Wise team, you will support the appointment booking team assure a smooth clientexperience working closely with service users, network providers and project partners.

In supporting the wider Projects team, you will work closely with the department leads to provide administrativesupport to ensure the effective running of the department.

This is an exciting role with lots of variation in responsibilities and is critical in helping bureaux to deliverspecialised support services for people across Scotland. To be successful, you must have excellent attention todetail and organisational skills, be proactive and conscientious, and able to work both independently, and aspart of a large team.

Please note that there is a requirement for some 8am starts and occasional weekend working to cover the operationalhours of the Pension Wise project.

Business Development across Citizens Advice Scotland and the Bureaux Network provides a vital capability to meet ourstrategic aims and to support the Network’s ambitions as well as to secure the future of our services. Thebusiness development function aims to build capacity across restricted, un-restricted and re-commissioningfunding streams by undertaking a business development and income generation role at a national, regional, andlocal level.

The Lead Business Development Officer collaboratively researches and develops new funding opportunities and revenue,from early identification, positioning, pursuit through to proposal submission. Working in partnership with theCAB Network you will ensure the function is actively involved, both locally and nationally, developing andsupporting compelling propositions to funders. You will be required to take a lead role in horizon scanning,researching, preparing for, and developing proposals and bids, working with colleagues across the organisationto develop a highly competitive, compliant, and persuasive business submissions.

Working with colleagues you will ensure we have a comprehensive database for each service area that includes a fullunderstanding of the core and non-core advice areas we operate in, including funding flows, competition, thepolitical environment and the opportunities within each, both nationally and locally.

Building and maintaining effective relationships is key to this role. This is a full time and fast paced role.

We are looking for a dynamic project manager with experience in delivering innovative exhibitions and events. This isan exciting fixed term opportunity (6 - 8 months) to be involved in an engaging collaborative project whichfeatures photographic and video storytelling of people around Scotland and their wide-ranging connections to thesea.

One of the main aims of this project is to showcase the important connections between people and Scotland’s marinenatural heritage, amidst the hidden biodiversity and climate crises that have unfolded in our seas. This projectwill help amplify different perspectives and stories of how these issues are impacting the many communitiesaround our shores. The project aims to raise awareness of these issues and inspire greater dialogue and actionwithin communities, and empower people to get involved in making a difference.

The work to gather these stories is almost complete and it will soon be time to share them across a variety oflocations and event spaces across Scotland. If you are highly organised, creative and have a passion for gettingvoices heard within communities and beyond, then this may be the project for you.
