To be responsible for kitchen duties within the home..
Responsibilities
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of the kitchen to government and company sanitation standards
- Wash dishes ensuring that they are adequately sanitised by maintaining required water temperature and chemical levels
- Put dishes away after washing
- Clean kitchen surfaces
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Clean out freezers
- Remove rubbish and place in appropriate bins
- Ensure that cooking equipment and appliances are used appropriately and maintained to an adequate standard
- Ensure that the kitchen has appropriate stock levels
- Carry out any other duties which may be reasonably required within the post
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- No essential skills are required
Desirable Skills
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not necessary
- Full training will be provided

Location: Parkside Private Nursing Home.
