Job Title: Maths and English SEN Tutor
Location: Barking & Dagenham
Salary Scale: £100-£200 per day (based on qualifications and experience)
Contract type: Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education London is currently seeking a Tutor for one of its client schools located in Barking and Dagenham. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school with a provision for SEN/SEMH students. The school seeks someone who would be capable of tutoring students per day on a 1-1 basis. The ideal person would be teaching English and Maths to students with SEN needs . The tuition will be held in students’ homes, and the Tutor must be able to teach both English and Maths up to GCSE levels. The Tutor must be able to teach up to 4 students per day. Experienced Tutors and Fully Qualified Teachers from the UK are encouraged to apply for this role.

Desirables:
- Must be able to teach English and Maths upto GCSE Level
- Must be able to teach 4 students per day
- Must be able to work with students with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH and more
The English & Maths Tutor would:
- Have knowledge in English, and Maths, upto GCSE Level
- Work with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties
- Have teaching or tutoring experience from the UK
- Have qualifications to teach from the UK
- Build strong and reliable relationship with students in order to attain desirable results in imparting knowledge
- Be comfortable and confident to provide 1 on 1 support, upto 4 students per day
- Make lessons enjoyable as per the learner’s need
- Identify challenges and cater the curriculum accordingly
- Help pupils develop their communication and life skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and make the students feel comfortable during class activities
