Job description

Penketh South Primary School is seeking a new headteacher to take the lead at this welcoming school, where pupils are encouraged to embrace challenges and are rewarded as much for persistence as achievement.

The school in Warrington, Cheshire, is highly inclusive and a proud member of The Challenge Academy Trust (TCAT), sharing its mission to ‘serve, challenge and empower the educational community.’

Trustees and governors are looking for a headteacher who will build on the current standards at the school, which was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its last report. This is an exciting opportunity for the new headteacher to bring their own creativity and vision to an already successful primary and nursery school.

  1. Salary: Leadership Scale L13-L19 (£63,430 - £71,729).
