Pay rate: £77-£80

Are you looking for your new role in education? Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a passionate and driven individual to take the role of a Learning Support Assistant based in a lovely Mainstream Primary school in Worthing. As a role of a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support the Teacher with the flow of lessons and ensure pupil attainment in the classroom. In this role, we would require that you hold knowledge of SEN and SEMH, as some pupils do require additional learning support. If you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or hold experience in the care sector but looking to get into education, we would love to hear from you.

More about the role

• Working Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm
• Working alongside the Teacher to promote successful learning outcomes
• Building rapport with staff and pupils
• Encouraging pupils to be the best versions of themselves.
• Working 1:1 with children with SEN/SEMH support when required.

Candidate requirements

• Be an enthusiastic and proactive worker
• Experience working with young people
• Experience/Knowledge of SEN /SEMH
• Be confident in managing behaviour
• Hold a Child DBS on the update service (or willing to complete a new one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
