Capital Tax Recruitment is currently working with the largest deals tax business in the market to help them recruit a dynamic M&A Deals Tax Manager. Due to an explosion in M&A activity following the coronavirus pandemic this team has grown exponentially and therefore successful candidates will benefit from working on the biggest deals in a fast paced and cutting-edge environment. You will help the firms clients to stay ahead of legislative and regulatory changes that impact their businesses, navigating complexity and risk. You will also deliver deep tax technical and legal expertise, while providing the critical context to help them make informed and compliant commercial decisions. The teams clients range from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses so the work you will get the opportunity to be involved in is truly diverse!
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Manage and deliver bespoke tax advice in a fast-paced and evolving M&A market landscape.
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and junior members of the team.
• Seek specialist input from other parts of the business, in particular transaction services and non-UK teams.
• Be proactive in seeking business development opportunities, helping to identify and progress opportunities with new and existing clients.
• Use technical knowledge and experience to help develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges for the firms clients.
• Take responsibility for developing your technical and business acumen.
• Keeping up to date with business and economic issues, industry insights and sharing your experience and technical knowledge as part of a team to solve complex problems.
