Job description

Our well-established school located in the beautiful city of Qingdao is currently holding interviews for English teachers who are qualified, organized and open-minded. Our students are aged between 3 to 12 years old with class sizes of 11 students per class. We have a team of professional native teachers who are dedicated in providing the best possible quality of education to our students.
We use one of the world’s best teaching materials published by the McGraw-Hill Group, which is designed for the American kindergarten and primary schools. We have plenty of available teaching resources such as smart boards, flash cards, computers and any relevant resources that the teachers may need. Teachers will receive training and ongoing support.
We believe that in order to provide the best quality of education to our young learners it is essential to invest in our educators. We respect our teachers’ individual teaching philosophy and we allow them to be creative in their teaching. Aside from the curriculum that the school will provide, teachers are encouraged to choose their own resources. We also aim to instill both the traditional Chinese education and western teaching philosophies to our young learners.
Qingdao is a picturesque coastal city that lies on the southern tip of China’s Shandong Peninsula, located in Jiao Zhou Bay facing the Yellow Sea. Qingdao is well known for its European architecture and attractive coastal landscape. With its abundance of natural beauty and bustling city life, the year-round schedule of tourist attractions and events, as well as an extensive public transportation network, Qingdao truly is an ideal place to live in.
The city is famous for its delicious fresh seafood, Tsingtao Beer (China’s most famous brand), and its colorful panorama of red-roofed houses and green trees overlooking the sea. The city has many spaces of parkland and forest, and is close to the Lao Shan Scenic Area which has its own beautiful mountain landscapes and waterfalls.
-Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week
-Maximum of 40 working hours per week (usually less)
-Class size: 11 students
-Student ages: 3 – 12 year olds
-Plan lessons ahead of time
-Conduct fun and progressive classes
-Attend meetings and trainings
-Excellent salary: 13,000 RMB per month
-Free hotel stay upon arrival
-Housing allowance: 2,000 RMB per month
-Airport pick up / taxi reimbursement
-Flight reimbursement on contract completion

-All national holidays plus 5 personal paid holidays
-Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided

-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate required – 120-hours or above (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL ) OR at least 2 years teaching experience required
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
