Job description
We are an independent, award winning, mixed veterinary practice based in the heart of Northamptonshire. We have a team of 8 Small Animal vets plus 5 Equine/Farm vets, supported by an experienced team of 14 RVNs, plus a large team of receptionists and admin staff.
The Role
Experienced, confident, Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our first opinion, well equipped, modern practice with a good reputation in the local area. You will be welcomed in to our fantastic friendly team which consists of 8 Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons and 14, very experienced, qualified nurses.
Case continuity is extremely important with vets encouraged to work up cases to a high standard. Clinical freedom is encouraged, as is sharing knowledge and expertise, whilst being supported by experienced colleagues with a variety of interests.
Salary is very competitive and dependant on experience but includes:
There are NO OOH work but any patients requiring hospitalisation are cared for by a dedicated night nurse.
Job Details
Successful Candidate
Ideally, we are looking to recruit and experienced and confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who is happy with first opinion consults and routine surgeries. The successful candidate must be registered with the RCVS.
The Package
We offer 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays and a generous CPD allowance. We will cover your RCVS registration fee and provide full VDS professional indemnity insurance.

We are based in the heart of Northamptonshire and fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and also within a 50 minute train ride to London and Birmingham.
