Job Title: ICT Teacher

Location: The Grange Therapeutic School, Knossington, Oakham

Hours:   37.5 hours per week, 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 8:30am-4:00pm Friday

Salary:    Up to £35,000 per annum

Contract:  Permanent, Term Time only

We are recruiting for an ICT teacher to join our amazing team at The Grange Therapeutic School.

About the role

To plan and deliver the IT curriculum to timetabled groups and monitor IT and support pupils in achieving ability appropriate qualifications in IT.

Participate in Safeguarding and Safety Intervention (SI) training and always be vigilant of the pupils’ well-being and welfare in any interactions with pupils. Inspire, motivate and challenge pupils in the delivery of the curriculum across the year groups and take responsibility and be accountable for the academic outcomes of pupils taught.

You will contribute to the pastoral care of pupils and support their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and monitor academic progress of the pupils in a form group and mMaintain positive relationships with parents/carer of the pupils in an allocated form groups.

The Grange Therapeutic School is an independent special school for young people aged 8 -18 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Our school is based in a Victorian country house near Oakham with stunning views and fantastic facilities to develop not only the educational, but also the social and emotional needs of our pupils.
