General nurses needed in around Ayrshire and Arran
We have an exciting opportunity for Registered General nurses to work alongside our reputable hospital clients based in and around Ayrshire and Arran.
Main Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating expert knowledge of nursing practice procedures and best practice.
- Manage the quality of nursing practice within their scope of responsibility.
- Provide an efficient and effective nursing service, using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
- Ensure the safety of patients and the public, the preservation of life and the avoidance of harm, as well as maintaining professional boundaries.
- Ensure the timely collection of data information, and supplement it with independent research where necessary.
- Provide advice and support to patients and families on healthcare matters.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and no restrictions.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- 18 months clinical nursing experience including experience in General Surgical.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
