Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Supporting business requests for master data changes, ensuring these are implemented accurately, efficiently and in accordance with data governance standards and processes. Working to support the continued commercial launch of our product.

• Data maintenance: creation, update and archive/deletion processes for all master data including vendors, customers, employees, locations.
• Ensuring all changes are appropriately authorised and documented in line with SOX requirements and SOP.
• Verification of supplier’s bank details.
• Managing employees’ leavers processes around access to controlled systems.
• Supporting design, testing and documentation of new processes.
• Effective identification of master data issues - recommends solutions to address the issues.
• Keep strong communication with both the wider finance team and IT.
• Ad-hoc support to wider finance team.

Experience & knowledge

Essential
• Strong experience of applying practice and processes to complete a specialized data management tasks in resourceful and effective ways.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience obtained within a fast-paced department.

Desirable
• Experience obtained within a finance department.
• Experience with data governance.
• Experience of ERP/Finance systems. Basic experience of working in an environment with SOX and / or SOP requirements.

Education & qualifications
• Studying AAT or similar qualification

Other
• Hands-on/ can-do attitude.
• Proactive in dealing with issues/ self-starter.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic team player.
