About the Apprenticeship
The Degree Apprentice Engineer be an integral member of the global Product Design & Management (PD&M) function. This role will be working in our Global Test Automation Team based in our Bath facility. Bath is also home to our Group headquarters and largest manufacturing site where we build our flagship IQ intelligent electric actuator range.
Working collaboratively as part of this high performing team, you will build your engineering skills, competencies and knowledge of Rotork’s processes and standards.

During the apprenticeship, increasing levels of responsibility shall be given in line with academic and internal training. With scope to explore other opportunities within the PD&M function.
Key responsibilities:
You will also study towards an BEng degree in electromechanical engineering and in addition to distance and work-based learning you will attend Warwick University for on campus learning for six one-week blocks per year. You’ll cover the foundations of engineering and electromechanical engineering in the first two years of the course. In the third and fourth years, you’ll focus on systems design, including a group project design module, and in the final year you will be required to carry out an individual electromechanical engineering project to apply the knowledge and skills gained over the duration of the programme and create a real-life engineering solution. Following your EPA you will achieve your degree, this standard also aligns with Incorporated Engineer (IEng) for IMechE.
