The opportunity
The Fuel Route Department at Torness power station is currently looking to employ an Engineer to join the Fuel Route Department. As part of this team, you will regularly face complex technical issues that will require delivery of safe, quality, and cost-effective solutions utilising sound engineering principles coupled with innovative implementation techniques whilst always working within the nuclear industry guidelines.
Pay, benefits & culture
The salary range is between £40,069 and £84,892 , with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. However, the starting salary for this appointment will be within the range of £40,069 to £71,779 dependant on the successful candidate's competence and experience . You will receive 28 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, incremental and competency-based progression, and a defined contributions pensions scheme.

What you’ll be doing
You will be accountable for delivery of operational activities include plant led processes, procedural changes, programming support/delivery

Who you are
As a minimum, candidates will have a relevant HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. You will ideally have a broad Plant knowledge and an awareness of operational and maintenance constraints. Ideally, you will have experience of working in a planning, operations or engineering function.
