We have a fantastic opportunity for a Ticket Office Supervisor within Billericay Station. Please note that this is a static position.

The Role 

The key focus of a Ticket Office Supervisor is to supervise a small team to ensure that the team continue to be both motivated and dedicated to exceeding customers expectation. In this role you will be committed to encouraging sales, while demonstrating a desire to achieve sales targets and incentive schemes.  

As a Ticket Office Supervisor, it will be your responsibility to ensure that Ticket Vending Machines are maintained, effective and on-train colleagues have the appropriate equipment. You will be required to process sales transactions, adhere to the company Cash Regulations Policy, and there will also be an element of period end accounting.  

Training on company systems will be provided peer to peer, by our dedicated colleagues within the business 

This position will require you to work a combination of early starts, and late finishes. There is also some weekend working including Sundays turns that are outside of the 35hr working week. 

Full uniform will be provided, to ensure that you embrace our values and brand as a business 

What we are looking for 

We are looking for a colleague who has a level of professionalism and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should be pro-active and friendly when dealing with our customers.  

Effective customer service and interpersonal skills are needed for this role. This role will require you to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining integrity at all times. You must be flexible (in your working hours). 

You will be knowledgeable about new technology such as smart phones and the internet and be comfortable showing customers how to use these.
