We are looking for an Assistant Area Commercial Manager to join our team, covering sites within our Woking Contract. In this role you will effectively support and monitor all catering and retail income, liaising with site and marketing teams to ensure targets are being achieved. You will also be responsible for supporting and achieving sales targets by motivating and providing ongoing training to the team.

Previous Sales Team Management would be an advantage and evidence of how you are currently maximising sales conversion, and effectively managing sales systems to ensure target is achieved would be great to hear.

Hours: 37 hours a week - Monday to Sunday

Requirements

• Experience of managing a varied workload
• Staff management experience
• The skill to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately
• IT skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel
• Well developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organization boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of colleagues
• Mobility to travel across sites
• Outgoing personality with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Flexible and adaptable
• A target driven person

Desirable

• A level 3 qualification in business or leisure
• Working in Senior Sales role
• Working in a leisure environment
• An ability to feed into and translate into action the marketing strategy and objectives
• An ability to analyse problems, situations and information, think laterally and present creative solutions
