Job description

The key responsibilities are as follows.

· Gathering and analysing market and competition research data

· Market mapping of niche semiconductor and geological market sectors and sales territories.

· Research and analyse market conditions

· Identify key competitor and technical consumer trends

· Articulate market requirements and opportunities

· Present detailed reports on the market and competitors to the Technical and Commercial Director

· Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements

· Support the Marketing Manager identifying specific market opportunities to run multi-channel marketing campaigns

· Advise the R&D Department on new product specifications / innovations that will differentiate the Logitech product solution from our competitors

· Define the long term strategy of the product and create product road map

· Prepare product documents including Market Requirement Documents and product use cases to drive product activity

· Develop pricing strategies and product policies

· Determine product packaging solutions

· Communicate with cross functional teams

· Technical document support - Supporting the creation and maintenance of technical documents including but not limited to Product Brochures / Technical Application Documents.

· Distributor network - my client has a network of exclusive distributors across the globe, your role will involve engaging with the individual Distributors and supporting the Marketing Manager to organise customised application and product specific marketing campaigns for the individual territories

· Monthly management reports

· Market Mapping - Quarterly reports defining the market size / identifying competitors and reporting on market share.

· Sales support - offering the sales team support with targeted market specific sales leads.
