If so, Capel Manor College has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Agriculture.

We are looking for an industry professional with experience of crop production, livestock husbandry and land-based machinery operations to teach our Agriculture students at our Mottingham Campus in South London. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, setting goals which stretch and challenge the students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students. No previous lecturing experience is required. You just need to have a passion for your subject and the ability and commitment to help others succeed. Full training and support is available for industry professionals making the move into lecturing and the College will support you to undertake a teaching qualification.

Lecturers can also join the Teacher’s Pension Scheme, a defined benefit scheme that allows its members to receive a generous lump sum when they retire. Lecturers at the College also receive 45 days annual leave a year, including bank holidays.
