Hours: 8am-4pm Monday-Friday – Potential of the role being a hybrid
Salary: £26,500-£27,500 per annum
Location: Markham Vale, Chesterfield
Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Commercial Admin to join our client in Markham Vale, Chesterfield on a permanent basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating customer reports using. Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Sometimes from data extracted from our systems.
- Liaising with external transport companies for inbound and outbound deliveries
- Dealing directly with customers and 3rd party collection/delivery locations for the management of meters and/or assets
- Raising internal job cards for inbound pieces of work and ensuring operations have visibility of this work and have clear instructions
- Raising customer invoices either weekly or monthly for services carried out
- Maintaining customer databases, pricing catalogues / engineer lists
- Onboarding new customers
- Maintaining data on our internal software
- Working closely with procurement and operations to ensure availability of goods
- Work closely with the Operations Manager on stock availability and stock taking
- To be responsible for own Health and Safety, and of anyone coming into the area of work
- To agree a plan with the Operations Manager and be responsible for meeting the agreed plan, and to organise and deploy the team in such a way that the plan can be achieved
- To attend daily production meetings to go through previous days performance and agree next days plan
- To mentor, train, support and develop Deputies to a point where a Deputy can deputise
- To mentor, train to SOP’s, support and develop operatives within the team so that the teams are trained across the business functions, so that the business can continue to meet the changing customer requirements
- To be proactive in seeking ways to continually improve processes and output and work with Continuous Improvement Manager
- To follow all relevant regulations, policies, procedures, and to perform other duties as per management instructions
- To check detail of each job to 100% accuracy and investigate discrepancies
- Working with our SHEQ team to ensure 100% compliance to our standards on both internal and external audits
- Cover for some of the Operations Managers role in their absence
Experience and Skills:
- A key, committed, knowledgeable, hard-working employee who is interested in developing themselves, who wants to work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the needs of the business are met
- Someone who is prepared to go above and beyond to get things done, who will help their peers and their teams and who will be relentless in driving to meet plans and objectives
- Someone who has back office and warehousing experience and someone knowledge of the utilities industry. This could either be metering or renewables
