Overview
One of South West London’s leading logistics companies are looking for a bright, enthusiastic candidate to support the team as a Customer Service Administrator.
Salary: £18,000 – £20,000
The Role
- Receive orders from Customers and fulfill them within specification
- Arrange haulage or other transportation of goods to the customer ensuring that their specific instructions are met
- Liaising and communicating with suppliers such as warehouses and hauliers to effect good working relations
- Obtaining competitive haulage rates for internal use
- Ordering, monitoring and declaring plastic pallets from suppliers
- Logging and handling of all rejected goods and damaged deliveries
- General filing and spreadsheet maintenance
Key Skills/Experience
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and comfortable talking to clients and suppliers on the phone
- Impeccable written English
- Good level of numeracy
- Highly computer literate and able to pick up new systems quickly
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
