SAP Data and Technical Developer

Description

Managing improvement for the overall effectiveness of one or more functions. Consulting and supporting processes, capabilities, systems and data for the function aligned to end-to-end value stream performance goals. Partnering to drive improvement activities within the function to deliver performance objectives of impacted value streams and improve outcomes for customers. Staying connected within relevant industries to support advancement within the function and position the company for sustainability and growth.

Coordinating the creation of functional maturity goals in collaboration with business leaders, other functional leaders, and end-to-end process owners.

Identifying and managing the functional excellence strategy and roadmap to achieve functional maturity goals.

The role is based at our Darlington site on a hybrid basis, include travel, with the possibility of travel being up to 25% of the role.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Significant relevant experience required, including managerial experience. Prefer strong experience leading strategic and change efforts within a function or business unit; and the ability to make and drive connections across relevant work streams. Solid communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as ability to work comfortably amidst ambiguity important for success in this role.

Knowledge of SAP industry best business practices are required with relevant experience in Automotive or Manufacturing domains.

Over 7 to 10 years of experience working across business and IT with strong project delivery experience, as an ABAP on HANA and FIORI Developer, that involves multi-module implementation of S/4 HANA versions will be key differentiators.

Candidates with SAP Certification and extensive implementation experience withinECC6.0 or S/4 HANA, will be preferred.

Highly desirable to have cross functional experience in MM, SD, FICO, PP and CS modules, native integration and data management and have worked with middleware like Mule Soft and to have in-depth cross functional subject matter expertise, Incident management and Production support with ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4HANA 1809 or higher.

Must have worked with SAP S/4 HANA projects and phased global implementations at multi-national industries and led technical project teams in an Agile manner for rollouts.

Experience with EDI (EDIFACT and ANSI X12) Idocs is highly desirable and will be a game changer.

Additionally, must be able to demonstrate succinct presentation skills and problem solving analytical skills and be able to effectively coach IT technical analysts.

Showcase at least 2 successful end to end implementations of S/4HANA projects in mid-size industries and 1 implementation in a large size manufacturing industry will be a distinguishing factor for the ideal candidate.

Experienced in managing partnership with third-party system integrators and other service providers in a project implementation.

Thorough knowledge of professional frameworks governing IT audits and will be required to liaise effectively with the internal and external audit team to ensure that changes in scope is agreed and that quality review work is performed at appropriate times in the audit.

Well experienced in end to end Data Migration life cycle(ETL) activities. Experience with SAP Industry dominant Loading tools(LTMC/Migration Cockpit).

Flexibility to work global hours as per the project implementation schedule is essential.
