Job description
We Require a Primary Teacher With QTS for an immediate start in Newcastle East!
GSL Education are working with a Specialist Behaviour school in Newcastle upon Tyne and require a Primary Specialist with the necessary empathy and people skills to deliver the subject to learners who face challenges.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the outcomes of pupils within their care.
The school caters for learners in KS2 who have SEMH challenges and are often reluctant to learn. A great Behaviour management style with a firm, positive and motivated approach to delivering the subject is a "MUST"
The hours are 8.30-4.30pm Monday to Friday TERM TIME ONLY
Requirements for the role:
- Must Have QTS AND hold a UK recognised teaching qualification
- Must hold a Primary Teaching specialism
- Must be an outstanding manager of behaviour , ideally with SEMH experience
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
- CV that covers that the last ten years of employment with no gaps
- Create a positive and encouraging learning space for learners
- Excellent rapport building skills
- Fantastic marking and assessment ability
- Able to differentiate the curriculum effectively – delivering really engaging lessons
- At least six months availability
